Build on the skills and experience of Valdosta-Lowndes County’s highly trained workforce. From advance manufacturing technology to industrial safety training courses, Valdosta-Lowndes County is home to five higher education institutions including Valdosta State University, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, Georgia Military College, and campuses located on Moody Air Force Base include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Park University.

We are also home to an outstanding K-12 public and private education systems where students excelling in AP and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) courses.
